Adopt Animals from the Human Society!!!
As some of you know, I am doing my final four project on animal adoptions. There are so many wonderful dogs and cats that need homes. I was really shocked at how many purebred dogs are dropped off at the shelter. So if anyone is wanting a dog or cat this Christmas Season you can get one at the Hall county Humane Society for 70.00 the animals are spayed/neutered and are up to date on their shots.
More Environmental shots
So this weekend I went to my mother in-laws beauty shop to get some more pictures for my environmental assignment. The little old ladies in her shop were so sweet! You can click here for more pictures.

Executive Shots this week!
This week our instructor assigned us to shoot instructors or administrators at Gwinnett Tech. We had to quickly set up our lights and shoot the assignment with in 15 minutes. This was challenge for me. Thanks to my wonderful assistants Peggy and Denise I was able to get my shot. The pictures were not exactly what I was wanting...but thanks to a little photoshop, I am almost done with my picture. Here is my executive shot that is still a work in progress.

Today in class our photojournalism instructor shared with us the documentary of James Nachtwey, a famous war photographer for over 25 years. His pictures and his documentary were very humbling. As Americans we take our freedom for granted. We are so spoiled, selfish, and materialistic. I think if we all cared more about humanity, things like world hunger would not be a problem. Thanks Ms. Finch for sharing this wonderful video! Check out his website here.

Today was very busy. This morning I went and took pictures of Helen baptist church and then went to the Hall County Humane Society to work on my final four assignment. I am trying to capture the process of animal adoptions and hopefully be able to put together a photo montage for the humane society to get people involved.

I got spooked last night...
Last night Madalyn and I were driving home at 11:00 from Monroe GA, I have only been on this road maybe twice. Well, I thought I was lost. It was very foggy and I could only see about 5 feet in front of me. Madalyn starting crying and I was on the phone with Denise completely freaked out. I thought I had taken a wrong turn and was in the middle of some kind of KKK protest or something. I kept seeing all of these creepy looking things on the side of the road and then they were everywhere! I still could figure out what they were. Yeah....so I get home and googled HOSCHTON GA . I found out they had set a world record of 4,000 scarecrows... and boy oh boy did they scare me LOL! I went back today and took pictures of them.

I just wanted to share this video. I thought it was a great explanation of how digital sensors work. All of Micheal the Mentors videos are great. They help explain a lot.
I am doing a photography shoot this weekend for Helen Baptist Church. Today, Denise & I went up there to get shots of the church before all the leaves fall off the trees. Let me just say that it was absolutely gorgeous up there!!! Ryan let me borrow his wide angle lens...all I can say is WOW I have got to get one of these lens! Thanks so much Ryan!
